This site is dedicated to my pastor of 10 years, Rev. Pols. In addition to feeding my soul week after week, He really cemented my love for reading. He taught me where to find the really good material. He introduced me into the world of the Puritans, and as a result, opened up a world of never-ending material to feast upon. He recommended books that made me grow ever nearer to the Lord Jesus. He led me to books that caused me to see the preciousness of Christ. He opened his library to me--even lending me one of his most valuable volumes. He patiently and faithfully continued to place good books in my hands to feed my insatiable appetite for mid-week soul food. Sometimes he even lent me 2 books at the same time so I wouldn't run out of material before Sunday. He constantly encouraged me in my efforts to write good book reviews to promote good reading among the congregation.
Rev. Pols, I would not be who I am today were it not for the Spirit's blessed work wrought in me under your ministry. I am so thankful that in God's good, sovereign purposes, He placed me under your spiritual care. You have given me the tools to aid and encourage me for the rest of my days. Most importantly, you have taught me to constantly draw my eyes heavenward.
It is my sincerest prayer that this site may come to be an immense blessing to others just as you have been to me.
My deepest, most humble and sincere thanks,
Ever in Christ,
Anita
